An IPO will take place on 10-13 March 2008, prior to the listing of Skipti hf. on OMX ICE. The Offering will start at 10:00 GMT on Monday 10 March 2008 and finish at 16:00 GMT on Thursday 13 March 2008. Subscriptions for shares amounting from ISK 100 thousand and up to and including ISK 25 million of purchase value, shall be made electronically via a special subscription form on the website of Kaupthing Bank (see link below).

Kaupthing Bank hf. and Exista hf. will offer up to 2,210,526,316 existing shares in Skipti hf., which represent 30% of the company's issued share capital.

OMX Nordic Exchange Iceland hf. has agreed to the admission to trading of the share capital of Skipti hf. The shares are expected to commence trading on 19 March 2008.
