On 27 March 2008, Exista made a takeover offer for all of Skipti's share capital. The offer was subject to the approval of competition authorities, if such approval was required by law.

Yesterday, on 17 April 2008, the Competition Authority decided that no intervention was required regarding Exista's acquisition of Skipti's share capital. The decision can be found on the Competition Authority website, http://www.samkeppni.is.

Accordingly, the only condition of Exista's takeover offer has been fulfilled and each acceptance is binding and irrevocable.
